My Name is Eric. I currently live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I Have been going to the Philippines on a regular basis since 2000.
The first time I visited the Philippines was to attend a friend's wedding, but fell in love with the country on proceeding visit.
I know the biggest problem most visitors have when coming to the islands is the illusion that the are still in their own country.
This is a different world. This is not your next door neighbor. This is a different country with different values.
The people in the Philippine are the world's friendliest individuals in all the planet.
However, this is by no means an absolute.
My wife Ruby is from Tubigon in Bohol, she has lived in Las Vegas since 2004. Ruby now has gotten her permanent resident status,
and soon will become a citizen of the US.
